MY EMOTIONS DURING THE LOCKDOWN FOR THE COVID-19

Hello my dear students!!!

I´m Oriele Puente de la Vega Amaya and I will be your English teacher this challenging year.

Yes!! Challenging because we are facing a difficult situation named COVID-19, that makes us living apart for the rest of the world and learning in a different way.

Despite this social distancing, we will be able to work together using different online tools to keep on your learning alive.

This time I created this blog to start discussing this important issue:

"What are your emotions during the lockdown?"

I must say that living isolated with my family is not as simple as it seems. To start with, we learned to be more empathetic because we needed to agree on what  type of film we will watch, choose a board game to play or even decide the kind of food we will eat. We are also kind and tolerant to each other. My husband is very helpful now, because he is the one who cooks ;). My older daughter she is really busy because she is attending to online meetings for the university and she is also reading lots of books. My younger daughter is very busy, too, but with some school work.

I think everyone in my family helps in one way or another. The important thing is that we must take care of each other, doing everything we can, and our family ties will be stronger than ever.

P.D. If you have some difficulty with the meaning of some words, please try to use an online dictionary, but DON'T use a translator.
